Mary Lambert Psychotherapy for Dalston, East London

About Counselling. Road and Mountains

Is psychotherapy for you?

Many people find they do not give themselves time to stop and think. Counselling and psychotherapy give you a weekly opportunity to have your own time to reflect, and by reclaiming your story you may discover new perspectives on past, present and future.

I have been able to work both short and long term with people who are hoping to find a forum to talk about many different issues. These include anxiety, panic attacks, depression, dysthymia, phobias, OCD, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, issues relating to becoming a father or mother, parenting, ageing and work-related mental health issues. I also have interest in problems associated with neurodiversity, and Asperger syndrome/high functioning autism in adults. I have also worked with many people who are working through the aftermath of adverse events in childhood such as sexual abuse or neglect.

I also have an interest in working with people studying psychotherapy and counselling.

I aim to offer myself as an interested, interactive and experienced partner in your journey towards the goals we negotiate together and the ultimate goals of freedom and choice for the future.

I work from a large, peaceful room at HQ Therapy on Kingsland High Street, near Dalston Kingsland station.
